🔱The DeFi Trident
Core Architectural Framework
Introduction
The DeFi Trident is the core architectural framework for the 3 ecosystem. It is a tripartite design philosophy that structures the system's operations. The framework separates functions into three principles to create a modular and interdependent architecture.
The Three Principles
Composability: The Adaptive Structure Composability enables the system's modularity and upgradeability. It employs a layered model where different tokens and modules are designed for specific functions, creating a flexible architecture.
Convertibility: The Trust & Value Engine Convertibility is the framework for the protocol's operational logic. It combines the programmed exchange mechanism of the Settlement Pledge with the long-term asset management logic of the Protocol-Controlled Reserve.
Sustainability: The Self-Perpetuating Cycle Sustainability governs the protocol's internal economic logic. It is powered by the Distribution Engine module, which directs assets to various system modules (PODs) according to its programmed rules, creating a cyclical operational pattern.
A Cohesive System
The Trident's principles are interconnected. Composability allows for the specialised modules that enable Convertibility. The outcomes of Convertibility's logic supply the assets managed by Sustainability's distribution. Sustainability's allocations can fund activities that utilize Composability's flexible structure.
This interconnected design is intended to create an automated and evolving system architecture.
