Protocol Issuance Layer

Design Overview

The Guild is the sub-protocol that governs the functions for issuing and managing the ecosystem's primary accounting unit, GUILD. It serves as the main interface for participant interaction with these core mechanics.

Protocol Responsibilities

Unit Issuance: Minting new GUILD units through predefined exchanges with other protocol modules.

Settlement Management: Operating the Settlement Pledge module, which enables a 1:1 exchange of GUILD for crvUSD according to its programmed logic.

Liquidity Formation: Operating the 3Pact system (see: GuildLocks) to facilitate long-term alignment with the protocol.

Interaction Facilitation: Enabling activities ranging from basic asset swaps to more complex engagements with other protocol modules.

Guild Protocol Service Units (PSUs)

  • GuildSwaps: Farm – A module for exchanging derivative assets for GUILD and 3Fi tokens.

  • GuildSwaps: Arbitrage – A module for exchanging derivative assets for crvUSD.

  • GuildLocks – The interface for acquiring 3Pacts, which represent a governance-aligned position.

Guild Native Tokens.

  • PRIME3 & ALPHA – Technical components of the protocol's internal architecture for treasury bootstrapping. (See: Startup Tokens)

  • GUILD – The protocol's native accounting unit.

  • 3Pacts – A governance-aligned utility position within the protocol ecosystem. (See: GuildLocks)
