Distribution Engine
Asset Allocation Module
Core Function
The Distribution Engine is an autonomous module that executes the programmed allocation of assets within the 3 ecosystem. It directs the flow of surplus assets according to predefined and governance-influenced parameters.
How It Works: Programmed Allocation Logic
The module's operation reflects the protocol's governance logic.
Asset Intake: The module receives ETH from the protocol's consolidated asset streams.
Parameter-Based Allocation: The flow of ETH is directed to Purpose-Oriented Distributors (PODs) based on specific system parameters. These parameters are determined by the staked governance weight (VW3) within each POD.
Creditor POD Parameter: The module's logic includes a parameter where VW3 that has been generated but not yet claimed by 3Fi stakers is automatically accounted for to adjust the allocation weight of the Creditors POD.
Automated Execution: The module automatically distributes incoming ETH according to these calculated allocation parameters.
System Outcome & Future Design
This creates a system where asset allocation follows programmed, long-term parameters. The framework is designed to allow for the future creation of new PODs through governance, which could then interact with this allocation module.
