Archetype 4 highlights.

Definition.

A Normie is any person who does not currently engage with NFTs, DeFi or Crypto of any sort.

A review in brief.

Generally speaking, those we identified as being a 'Normie' during our interviews dismissed the Crypto space entirely at its mention, citing remarks such as: ‘it’s a scam’, ‘ only used for nefarious things’ and ‘illegal activity’.

'Perhaps not entirely unexpected.'

Although this archetype is not in focus until late into our delivery road map, one very important finding did surface during our interviews. That:

'In a few instances, it was made very clear to us that they had "absolutely no interest in becoming financial experts" ...in legacy finance, or any other, not least in DeFi.

From a decentralised perspective, this finding poses some very interesting challenges. One’s we are very excited to tackle, when the time is right.

Subdivisions.

While we have identified many subgroups of the Normie, particularly in those groups with an affinity to finance and technology, none of these groups warranted a split of the parent term in order to address gaps within the solution we devised and presented to our test groups. This said, we will indeed revisit these groups post Module 3 delivery.
